Tips for Visiting the Museum with Kids

Babies and toddlers. Changing stations are located in all of the restrooms in the Freer and in the Sackler on level B2. Strollers and front-worn baby carriers are permitted in the galleries.

Take breaks. Sit on a bench or on the floor while you look at art. Enjoy the fresh air in the Freer’s central courtyard.

Art & Me workshops provide an early experience in the museum for preschool-age children. Programs are led by museum educators and may include stories from picture books, explorations of art materials, and guided gallery visits.
